I needed a congratulations card recently. So, I dug out the recently retired Branch Out set to make the card. I love this stamp set and am sad that it retired.
I cased a beautiful card by MIchelle Zindorf for this card. Mine doesn't even come close to her beautiful work, but I am satisfied with the results. I used the following stamp sets: Branch Out, Medallion and Baroque Motifs.
Here's a scenery card I made using inks and sponges. I stamped it using the Branch Out stamp set. Thank you to Michelle Zindorf for all of her wonderful tutorials. If it weren't for her, I would never have figured out how to make this type of card!
All in the Family and Branch Out together at last! Here's a cute card using these two sets together. The Designer Series paper is from the Hostess Level 1 Paper Pack. The flowers on the tree are punched out of a flowered paper in this same paper pack.
In the Branch Out stamp set, there are several things you can stamp in the tree. One of my favorites is the tire swing. Here is a card using the Branch Out stamp set, one of the new corduroy buttons and the Sale-a-Bration Designer Series Paper.
Here's another card using the Branch Out stamp set. Here's a tip for you: save the rubber after you punch out the stamps to mount them. You can then use the rubber as a stencil for sponging and outlining. You can see I used the rubber as a stencil to sponge the blue on the tree.
One of my favorite new stamp sets in the catalog is Branch Out. There is just something about trees that I like! I had some time to play with the set and here is one card I made:
