I reached into my box of scrap paper to find the pieces for this card.  The wreath on the card is a really cool ribbon weaving technique that we made at the January Techniques Club.

I needed a congratulations card recently.  So, I dug out the recently retired Branch Out set to make the card.  I love this stamp set and am sad that it retired.

Use it Up

I recently spent time cleaning in my stamp area.  I found tons of scrap paper...Big pieces and little pieces & every size inbetween.  Really, it is a ridiculous amount of paper!  I am determined to use it up.  Here's a birthday card I made using paper from this pile.

Today, I have pages made using hearts since Valentine's Day is just 2 short weeks away.

I used the used the Season of Friendship and Hello Again stamp sets.  I also used the 3 heart punch.  Below is a closeup of one of the trees.

 Next, are more pages using the "Heart" theme.

 

 

I embossed the heart stamp with white embossing powder.

123 Treat

Here is an easy peasy treat holder!  Once you know how to make this, you can easily adjust the size to make it larger or smaller.  

Directions:

• Start with a 6x6 square
• Score at 2" and 4"
  
• Turn your card stock & score at 2" and 4" in the other direction.
• At this point, you will have 9 scored boxes
• Now, score the 4 corners at a diagonal (from the tip to the first scored line)
• Fold all score lines
• Punch a hole at the 4 corners
• String ribbon through the holes and tie

 

Very Valentine

The card I am sharing today could easily be a Valentine's Day card or an anniversary card.  I used the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder to created the background.  The black paper flower add an extra touch on the front of the card.
